Asked in Parliament whether the Government is aware that a large number of eunuchs/transgenders are found begging in metropolis in the country and if so, the details thereof; whether the Government has any proposal to rehabilitate and bring them into the mainstream of the society and if so, the details thereof along with the measures taken to improve the living conditions of the said community; and whether the Government has any proposal to impart skill training to the transgenders and provide educational and employment facilities to transgenders through special quota or reservation in educational institutions and Government jobs.
